Adrian started his laboratory work in an Elgin dental practice in 1991 while studying for his HNC in Dental Technology in Aberdeen. Commercial laboratory work followed in Aberdeen then Perth before moving back to Aberdeen to work in the Royal Infirmary. While working there he self funded a place on the first Maxillofacial Prosthetics course in Manchester.
Upon successful completion of the course, two year Vocational Training and Assessment Interview Board, hard work paid off as he left Aberdeen to work in his first Maxillofacial Laboratory.
He is employed as a Maxillofacial Prosthetist at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in East Grinstead. He undertakes the full remit of maxillofacial work, relishing the challenges each patient brings, the friendly stimulating environment of the maxillofacial prosthetics department and the lovely weather of South-East of England.
He was co-opted onto council in 2005 for one year. Successfully became an IMPT council officer in 2009 and currently serves as IMPT Honorary Registrar.
