| I trained at the Dental Hospital on a full time course in the late seventies, during which time I took both the advanced general and teachers certificate. In the early eighties I started my maxillofacial training at a burns and plastics unit on the outskirts of Sheffield where I obtained by advanced maxillofacial before moving to a chief Maxillofacial post at Rotherham Hospital where I worked for 23 years. I obtained my BSc (Hon) (2:1) Degree in Technical Dentistry at MMU in 2000 and extended the original research by way of a PhD at the University of Sheffield in 2004. I have recently taken up a new post at Manchester Met University as Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics. |
