Submissions are invited for the IMPT Journal 2008. This year there is a further incentive for authors. It is hoped in 2008 that the journal will be index linked to acknowledge its scientific contribution. This gives the publication an improved standing in terms of peer review status equal to other journals.  This has caused a problem in the past with authors choosing to publish in alternative journals for recognition, reducing the number of submissions to the IMPT Journal.

 

A further incentive is the Abacus Award. This will be an annual award of £250 for the best publication in the Journal. The assessment will take place amongst the editorial board based on scientific contribution to the profession.
