| As Healthcare Science week 2010 approaches in March (12-21st) we really
need your help to make it a success! If you feel you or your colleagues would like to be involved then we
would be delighted to have you as a STEMNET Healthcare Science
ambassador. Please mention you work for the NHS in your application as there are very few NHS ambassadors nationally so they will be delighted . They give full training and support to any ambassador activity.
The NHS is now a corporate sponsor of the national science event called
The Big Bang Fair March 11-13th 2010 and this year it will be held in Manchester with an
expected 20000 visitors.
The NHS stand will need Healthcare Science Ambassadors to talk to the
public and schools about the amazing work Healthcare Scientists do so if
you feel you can help please get in touch at diagnoseit@dh.gsi.gov.uk

with a local school to assist in the National Healthcare Science
