The Journal Editor would like to ask all levels of members to make a contribution to the profession by writing an article for the Journal. It could be in the form of: -

1. A scientific paper
2. A case study
3. A technical note
4. A recent experience of maxillofacial work in a foreign country
5. A letter of comment to the editor on anything related to past articles or the profession (Registration, AFC,etc)

Its your Journal! we are unique in having such a forum and we have the opportunity to continue the growth of the journal.

The next stage in our Journals evolution is making it index linked so it will have a higher status in the journal hierarchy. This will encourage more authors. It is a 'chicken and egg situation' but we have to keep supporting the current format for this next step to be taken by a publisher. When the publishers see that we have continually supported the journal we will have an opportunity to make this change.

Please help us to make this a success.
