Provisional timetable

Introduction

Facial (and body) prosthetics occupies a small though psycho-socially very important and technically demanding position within maxillofacial prosthetic service. Since many years the use of silicones has been prevailing. New technologies have been introduced and many specialities are involved in the care for the (facially) compromised patients. Experts from basic sciences and clinical workers, however, rarely meet to exchange their knowledge, ideas and questions, despite a lot of problems that are known to be encountered in daily use.

Transfer of knowledge concerning the clinical use of silicones for facial prostheses in conferences or other meetings is hardly organised. The Center for Special Dental Care and Maxillofacial Prosthetics of the University Medical Center in Groningen together with the Wenckebach Instituut want to offer you the opportunity to fill in the gap. We therefore cordially invite you to come and visit our University Medical Center in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Target group

Dentists (MFP), technicians (MFP), surgeons and specialists in training.

The program consists of one day lecturing and one day of workshops.
